“E SERIES” TRACK DAY CHALLENGE
The idea is to have a cheap, fun, class at our annual Levels Track Day.
Vehicle Eligibility
The category is open to all Falcon/Fairmont/Fairlane models from EA through to EL. The cars must be 6 cylinder, normally aspirated (i.e. no turbos etc). They can be manual or auto. With an emphasis on fun, car modifications should be kept to a minimum, but there is no restriction on modifications, other than no forced induction.
Eligible cars must comply with all normal requirements (such as WOF, registered, extinguisher etc). As per the standard track restrictions, vehicles cannot be powered by LPG, CNG or have nitrous.
Driver Criteria
There can be a maximum of 4 drivers per eligible vehicle.
Event
Drivers will get a maximum of 2 runs in each event (SS1/4, go-to-whoa, hot lap).
Results will be based on each driver’s total combined time over the 3 events.
Entry Fee
The entry fee will be “per car” – and will be double that of the “normal” entry fee. Thus if the standard individual entry fee is TBC “E Series Challenge“ cars will incur an entry fee of $220
**Single-driver cars – entrant should enter the event normally (thus paying standard entry fee)
Note
Participants in the “E Series Challenge” can also enter another car in the “normal” track day activities (and normal entry fee applies in addition to any “E Series” fee), but can only be entered in ONE “E Series Challenge” vehicle.
** Entrants driving qualifying vehicles in the “normal” track day are automatically entered in the “E Series Challenge”, with only their first 2 times in each event counting for results in the “E Series Challenge”.
